While it is sad that it took foreclosure of the arena to begin the renovation(s)....in the long term this will be something positive for the team, the building and the community.
It will certainly help with marketing hockey and other events and hopefully will boost the economy in Flint.

That is the most positive news I've heard out of Flint in a long, long time. Hopefully the upgrades to the building will lead to other things and be a momentum builder for the good fans of the Flint Generals......speaking of positives, after I read Fic's press release it came to me that we won't have to put up trying to decipher his writings anymore. ( I know, it's not much compared to the loss of the Lumberjacks, but it is something.)

Wait a minute, I'm confused here.This sounds like good news out of Flint.Good for them.Anybody that has ever been to Perani knows these repairs were long overdue.Now get rid of South and the team itself might see some improvement also.
