And if somehow he turns Flint around by actually advertising and whatever, that would be a pretty dumb move, wouldn't it? Again, who knows if he's even going to buy the team or not.
There is so much crap going on right now in minor league hockey, if I could get anyone to go on the record, you would all accuse me of making it up. Some really wild... Let's just say I've heard it from a couple different sources, but nobody wants to go on the record. Remember yesterday when I postulated that the IHL might be in a position of strength because if they did go anywhere as a group, they might stabilize whichever league they went to? Something along those lines.

The CHL has been the league positioning itself, growing, making positive strides, and seems to have a longterm plan. Is it possible that the CHL is going to make a bold move that would form an eastern/midwestern division....that would put the hammer on the ECHL???
Or is the ECHL finally coming to the table and realizing that they need the midwest teams to keep K-Zoo, Cincy, and Toledo happy and intact???
It has to be one of those 2 scenarios.

Hahaha! While there are little cliques on here, there is usually some good information, too. It's not all accurate 100% of the time, but it is all interesting to think about from all possible angles. I think most hardcore hockey fans have a very thick skin and don't take any insults, or differences in opinion, on here at more than face value. All opinions are worth hearing, even those that differ from the powers that be. As I've said 1,000 times before, I am not even close to being on the level of the vast majority of many of you bloggers out there when it comes to hockey knowledge, so I come on here to learn. Even the stuff that isn't 100% correct provides information and ways of looking at things, so I value it. Thanks to all who contribute and please keep it up, even if we disagree.

So are we thinking right now that CHL and IHL could merge? Would that involve any teams coming on board from the ECHL. I guess this is all speculation at this point but any more knowledge on the situation is greatly accepted. Thanks to all.
