Lady Gaga is officially the world's most powerful female celebrity, at least according to Forbes which released its World's 100 Most Powerful Women list on Thursday (August 25). Primarily dominated by politicians and CEOs, Mother Monster grabs the #11 spot on the coveted ranking, besting all other celebrity figures including friends and collaborators Oprah Winfrey and Beyoncé Knowles.,
Kind of makes you wonder what people think of when you say "powerful." I tend to think of somebody who has the ability to start a war in my name or take all my money or throw me in jail, but that's just me. Bow down before those with the power to make you go to YouTube every five minutes.

I, too, was puzzled by this. I'm not even sure who Lady Gaga is what she does, but she certainly doesn't have any "power" over me.
These women seem to have celebrity, not power.
