Matheiu Curadeau missed skating today with a lower leg injury, but said he'll be fine to play on Friday... Komets trainer Shawn Dundon and equipment managers Mark Bradtmueller and Andy Desmond had to scramble all weekend to make their equipment make weight for the air travel. They spent a lot of time switching things around to even out bags, and such, but somehow made it all work... The last time the Komets flKomets GM David Franke said he's not sure when help is coming from Springfield... He's also not sure what roster moves the team will make this week. Keith Rodger and David Cianfrini are eligible to come off IR...

Well, since this CHL doesn't seem to like fights, as the refs call an instigator for the stupidest of reasons....I say Legault is expendible.
I think with guys like Fletcher, Schrock, Cescon, and Rodger on the ice, we would be just fine in the Church Hockey League.....

Didn't we attempt to fly to KC in recent history? Komets bussed to detroit to fly out but weather cancelled the flight, bags flew on to KC and KOmets didn't have equipment for a couple of days until NWA flew it back to detroit.

If they can get the offense kick started and get used to the NHL rules called games they should be ok... Defense is there again so far (team GAA of 2.33)... Some tough roster decisions still have to be made though, IMO...

If Legault could do anything well besides fight I wouldn't be so down on him. Actually, does he even do that well? The guy can't keep his balance when trying to backcheck which is why he and Dupuis will lead the league in hooking and holding penalties this year so how can he keep his balance while trying to dodge jabs and uppercuts?
The "Goon" that Mightbite was referring to is Mike Sgroi. And as stated above he was signed by Colorado Golden Eagles.
Well, I don't have a Mike Sgroi signed card or a Mike Sgroi jersey.....but I am wearing a pair of pants with holes in both front pockets......:)

Rob Riley was a center but his playing career didn't go beyond college. His coaching career seems to have some impressive accomplishments and one not so impressive at Army but recruiting for the academies is always a tough situation and a great record in hockey at one of the military academies has to be an almost impossible accomplishment I would think.

Honestly Hit, I think Shafranov would do very well in the CHL... Could you imagine someone who can handle and pass the puck like Shafranov in the mugging free NHL-called CHL game? He's not the fastest guy by a long shot; but he was always in the right position on the ice...smart hockey player...

Varone is a pretty decent player when healthy, he'll find work.
As far as talking some smack, I guess a team convincing you to stay when you have a offer in Europe, then dumping you 25% into the season will make you do that. I'm not sure I blame him.
