And they think this is going to HELP their team and it's poor performance? Good luck with that!

What is Bloomington doing? They've released some of their more valuable players within the past few weeks, and somehow they think that by doing so it will IMPROVE the team? Granted, Parsons had a minus-14 rating, which isn't the greatest way to judge a player anyway, but still. Wow. Just... wow.

If you look at how Bloomington tanked when Parsons couldn't score, you can see how far he dragged down the team in "his" pursuit for the record. When one player becomes bigger than the team, a change has to happen. Plus if Bloomington is already writing off this season they might as well get rid of the highest paid guy. It'll be interesting to see who will have the veteran space and money available to bring him in.

The Komets should, but I bet he ends up in Muskegon or Kalamazoo. If Bouchard doesn't land in Musky, then Parsons will.

Bouchard skated in morning practice with the FuryJack...and Kuster from FuryJack has signed with Bloomington. Sounds like Bouchard had the FuryJack as his back-up plan all along...his daughter has allergies...likely story.

Also, I read where Robin BigSnake was working a deal with Flint to sign there, then had second thoughts when he heard from current players they hadn't been paid in a month...he signed with Elmira today.

I would bet Parsons ends up in K-Zoo. I just can't see us signing a 39 year-old ego at this point. Maybe I am wrong.

I went into this season pumped up and day by day I get more and more disappointed in what is going on in this league. Lets hope the Komets pull together and make a strong run. Certain players are starting to annoy me on this years team though. One in particular has been a bust and I don't see the effort out of him I expected after his supposed super summer he had...

You really do not need to use your brain to realize there were personality problems in Bloomington. The BIGGEST personality is no longer there. Should solve the personality problem now shouldn't it. The Komets were one one of the largest benifactors of those problems. Leo Thomas is proof of that. I think Bloomington committed to allowing Parson to get his record there. He did they kept their word now he is gone. A Bloomington jersey will hang in the Hockey Hall of Fame. I am not sure at what price they paid and if it was worth it.

Either way, Bloomington will continue to struggle and will continue to be in the bottom tier of a 6 team league. Let's just hope this continues to be a league the rest of the way...this year anyhow.
