The Komets who live in Fort Wayne are in their second week of skating at Canlan, and some of the veterans are in much better shape this September than they were last year. P.C. Drouin and Leo Thomas were keeping up with Sean O'Connor, who looks like he's in midseason form. He was amazing today. Bobby Phillips worked construction all summer and said he's as strong as he's ever been, and he looks it. Guy Dupuis, Olivier Legault, Keith Rodger and Brandon Warner have all been working out pretty hard. Nick Boucher just got back into town this afternoon.
``Last year was a lot different,'' Thomas said. ``This year I spent a little bit more time in the gym and worked on cardio a lot more than I did last year. I've been on the ice way more this summer than last summer. We've been skating the last couple of weeks here and that has helped out. Last year we didn't have this much ice.''
Drouin said he kept working out all summer, which he wasn't able to do as much last year because of the broken arm he suffeed at the end of the 2008-09 season. He's also been doing some boxing at the club in Garrett, a

Didn't power change hands out at Canlan? Wasn't there a little drama out there this summer? Could he come back to work there again, and also, there is a chance with the CHL roster rules he might well fit into one of those salary exceptions that were highlighted.

Ok it was posted a big signing for the 29th. So where is it? Who is it? What is the website that was mentioned about Chaulk? I would like to see it. If he has only played one game, how many has that team played? Did it mention if he was hurt and thats why he wasn't playing? I know, too many questions.
KometKrazy, sorry I can't answer your questions because I haven't put in the time to look at the Italian teams but at the time that comment was posted they had only played one game so I'm guessing that's why Chaulker played one game at that time.
