Tailing the Komets

Pssst! Want to know a secret?

Unlike someone else, I am not making this up: Tomorrow, Sept. 23, is actually Burgee's birthday! He turns 78. Doesn't look a day over 67, does he? No wonder he's got so much money -- he's already on Social Security! Either that or he's been beating Schebig and Steve with sucker bets.

Errr...I thought tomorrow was September 23. Of course, between job hunting and having my nose shoved up a textbook all day, I get confused.

Happy Birthday, Burgee! Enjoy your special day.

Good catch, Bob. My computer's calendar was off. It's fixed now, pretty much just like Burgee.

Tim..I have children that are older than Burgee. Yours might be also. I am telling you he is but a child in terms of years. Some of my grandchildren are older than his children. I am telling you he has just begun to live. You and I have forgot more about life than he has experienced. Do you feel old yet? I am trying my best to get you there.

No Rob, just an intelligence one and you're out! LOL.

Gotcha, shouldn't believe everything you read! I think I'll celebrate again in a couple months. You know how hard it was to stay quiet this long?

Tell me something I don't know.

I believe that's an understatement.

Rob...You can believe this, Burgee celebrates whenever he sobers up and/or comes to. Right now he is ready to go on a Coke zero kick again. He tripped out on carbs yesterday. Baked Alaska and lot of high sugar content stuff. He only has a few weeks and he get back on his foo foo's. He spent way to much time yesterday trying to bribe Randy Brown to put his name on the Ribbon Boards before anyone else.

Am on vacation in southern Indiana. Was in Evansville with a Komets tee shirt on in a resturant. The owner came up to me and said they cant wait to get started. So at least they know who the Komets are. That us going to be about a 6 hour road trip for both teams. Is not us,... sry.

I'm sure the hockey teams will be reason to get the US 69 extension moved to the top of the Hi Way Department's priority list. That could cut the trip down by a couple of hours.

Wow. Someone has way too much time on their hands. Maybe AA would help? (Aspartame Anonymous).
