#3. Spring Elite Teams
A tryout will be held on March 26 from 6-730pm at MacMillen Arena. I will hold the tryouts on this day for two teams. One team being 1997 birth year (98's may also tryout) and 1996 team (97's may also tryout). At the tryout you must specify which team you are trying out for. Players will be in colored jerseys. They will be organized according to team they are trying out for.
Coach: Myself - Colin Chaulk
Tryout fee: $35 which will go towards ice rental and team budget
Please be aware that there has been some interest and I suspect that we will have enough kids to have a tryout with cuts made. I will email the parents the final roster on the evening March 27. The team will be rostered under Fort Wayne Youth Hockey. We plan on playing in two tournaments:
(1) May 16 -Detroit
(2) May 30 - Chicago
Both are unconfirmed at this time.
Practice schedule - I plan to use MacMillen for team systems and positional play. Hockey House for puck skills and dryland training. We may also use Sweeny Park(sp??) for positional play outdoor, which would elevate the ice cost.

I realize some people will be away for Spring Break. Please contact me via email if you cannot make the tryout by March 18. I will make a decision at this time whether to arrange a second tryout at Hockey House or work it on an individual basis.
If you have any questions regarding the team please contact me via email.

Look forward to seeing all those interested on March 26!
