This was the discussion in the press box, and I don't know the answer.
Who's the tallest player ever to play for the Komets? Some of the names that came up: St. Pierre, Andy Milne, John Hilworth and Rory Cava. I'm sure there's somebody else obvious I'm missing, too. Anybody got any ideas?

Kevin Kurk? Tallest player on this year's team.
what about Tom Lawson? if i remember correctly he was pretty tall?
How about Tod Reirden or Mad Max Middendorf? I think they were both 6-5. This is going to have to be one for the oldtimers, I'm guessing.
Biggest as far as size, it's going to be awfully tough to beat Sean Kenny last year. 6-3 at at least 275
where is kenny? that guy when healthy was a force out on the ice, he could play both forward and D, probably the toughest dude in the league last year, he would be a great asset for the stretch run into the playoffs, i know the ks probably didnt want to take a chance on him for the long haul of the season but would be an excellent pickup before the deadline to make a run at the cup.. p.s. i wonder if big snake would mess with him??
Kenny had back surgery a while back and is not playing this year. He did sign to play in the LNAH, but that was at the beginning of the year. I agree he would be a great pick up for the run, but even last year he was not dependable night to night..he was on IR a lot last year.
Hey Blake try this question out!
since it is time for the Olympic's here is the question
what two player that won the gold medal in 1980 "Miracle on Ice" team played for the Komets
MARK WELLS & THE STEVE JANASACK
ok,, smarty smitty,, what player won the gold in 80 and then went on to win the stanley cup 3 months later.
if you have to research and dont know off hand admit it, ha!
Ken Morrow
Another tall player to suit up for the Komets was best known for his role as one of the Hanson Brothers in Slapshot: Jeff (?) Carlson.
Bobby Stewart? Just kidding. Jim Logan is a tall dude.
Logie is 6-3. Jeff Carlson 6-3.
Roger Galipeau 6-4.
Manute(sp) Bol. Oh, he played for the Indy Ice in one game. 7 foot 7 if I remember right.
Shane Kenny was at a game this year about first of the year. He would have to work-out the rest of the year to get back into playing shape. He must of gained 45 pounds easy. Too many back problems last year. Did he play more than 30 games for us last year?
So wasn't Justin right? Kevin Kurk?
