I just found out Lance Galbraith made the trip to Quad City. Not sure if he's going to play, but I'm making a guess that he might or why go on a there-and-back road trip? Of course he might have gone along so he can get more treatment from Shawn Dundon. He has 288 career games, so he's in no trouble of passing 300 to earn veteran status for next season.
Komets General Manager David Franke said a decision on Galbraith's status won't be made until after the morning skate.
David Hukalo is day-to-day with his wrist sprain and rookie Jamie Milam will re-join the team Friday in Port Huron and also play Saturday at Flint.
I'm also betting the Komets are keeping A.J. Bozoian out in part to keep him under 60 games to he can still be classified as a rookie next season.

Good Thinking on A.J. he is quite the speedster. Looks like they are managing the numbers on both Lance and A.J. -- nothing wrong with that.
Am i reading into your blog that the K's went up to QC a day before the game?
Honestly I am usually just a reader of the blogs not a participant but I happen to know the answers about AJ. Coach is scratching him to keep his rookie status. Before the Wednesday game he said he needed to sit out 3 more games to be a rookie for next season. He is also having a little trouble with his groin so sitting out is helping him heal! Love to read all the opinions but for the most part I think I should keep mine to myself since I really don't want to get hammered by everyone else! LOL!
They usually leave the day before mid-week games outside of Michigan and Rockford. Except for when teams travel to the East Coast, the Komets are one of the few teams that consistently does that.
