isn't this an exciting year, 4 teams battling for the top spot and the 5th in the hunt still to make the playoffs, going to be a great finish for our little 6 team league.

Amazing, the team does well, Legault comes back and does what he said he would and all you hear on the blog are buzzards chirping.

Well here are the facts, first and foremost the guys who needed to pick it up of late have done that because that is what they are suppose to do..Curadeau, MVL, Leo, PC, and our powerplay.etc...As far as Legualt goes his injury goes back to the start of the year because his numbers would prove that he wasn't healthy, now that he is healthy he is doing what he is suppose to do and guys like Littlejohn are not jumping and pounding guys like Hukalo or Varone. I for one believe that Sims provided that motivation to all with ideal threats are just a plan kick in the rear. We can all second guess when the year is over because right now we have not won anything, but the possiblity of doing somethig great is there and very possible. And if they can pull it off it may be more remarkable than last year.

Hey Blake- any word on Legualt being susupended this weekend? I think Chase said something on the radio about it after Legault's boarding call last weekend.

Yes, they've been playing much better of late, and it is great that all the wounded warriors are finally healing up and stepping up. So why are things so quiet? I wouldn't be too amazed by that if I were you. For one thing, I think everyone is just holding their breath to see if the team can continue to do well. Things have been so up and down, hot and cold, that its only natural. Also, while the Komets did beat Flint and Kalamazoo (lower in the current standings) last week, they lost to Muskegon (higher in the standings). So what does that tell us? Not much. I think the cynics are just waiting to see what happens this weekend, too. Not to mention that it is late enough in the season, that many fans are thinking more about the upcoming playoffs than the games that are left on the schedule, and considering the team's record at home, people aren't fixated on having home ice advantage this year.

But yes, WELL DONE to all the players! Keep it up! :)

With trade deadline coming any rumors out there? One that I have seen talked about on boards is Robinson from Flint to FW in a trade. Would makes sense he is a very tough and stable defensemen.

If Robinson would get traded to the Komets, I wouldn't have my favorite player on the other team to pick on anymore! What a bummer!

I asked about Jason Robinson, and they didn't seem too excited about it. Basically, I was told the Komets are listening to different offers.
