Ratchuk heads back to Springfield

He leaves first thing in the morning on a recall.

`` I think a big part of it is the trade deadline is Monday,'' Ratchuk said. ``I know they put a guy back on waivers and they have only six guys, so I'm going back up there as insurance in case somebody gets hurt. Maybe guys get traded, or maybe they won't and I'll come back. I guess I'll know after Monday. I love being here, and the guys here are awesome. I think it's hard up there because I haven't been playing all year. It's been a rough year, but I just have to deal with it.''

6 of one, half dozen of the other.

Welcome back, Brand-o.

JM, I understand not thinking Ratchuk is the greatest defenseman ever, but hcan you seriously say there is no difference between him and Warner?? Ratchuk had one off game. Ratchuk uses his body, Warner refuses to. Ratchuk would skate circles around Warner. Ratchuk's passing is off the charts compared to Warner. Ratchuk's awareness is better, and he just looks a lot hungrier on the ice. There is a reason Ratchuk gets called up, even if only to ride the bench, and Warner doesnt. If they are equal (or for those two people who think Warner is better), send Warner up and keep Ratchuk here.

RK, I should have explained my position better.

I think they are both Blog Superstars. Neither do much on the ice for me. I'm not saying Warner is better, or even equal... It's all the same to me because they both do pretty things with the puck right before they turn it over.

Might want to get to the game early tonight...On top of it being military appreciation night which usually draws a good crowd, there's wrasslin in the Expo Center which is sold out and BOTH start at 7:30 so I'm sure the parking lot is going to suck.

Thank goodness the 5000 wrastlin fans that made the lobby one big sardine can were wearing deodorant. They had no where to go as the doors were closed to them. That was not their fault. So who is to blame??? Gee thats a tough one!
