Tailing the Komets

Ratchuk is on his way back

He'll be back in time for practice on Wednesday. The Komets will have to make a roster move to get him on the active roster. He did not play in Springfield this weekend.

There's no reason that I know of that they can't use IR.

No question it will be Danko and I figured Lane would be in line up

I would put Danko on IR for now. Not because I love Warner lol but he can actually score. Warner will be IR when Frankie comes back an we will be back with the team that was flowing before last weekend!

Hopefully someone can cut that bungee cord that Springfield has on Ratchuk so he can stay here for the rest of the season. Let's hope everyone in Columbus and Springfield stays healthy and happy!

This is good news. Mightbite thank you for your concern. She is home now and working on getting better. As anyone with diabetes knows keeping sugar levels correct is kinda like getting a teams playing roster settled.

Tim, didn't understand your wife's situation. Our older daughter has been diabetic since age 7 (25 now). She manages well but obviously a constant focus.
Your wife will get it under control. And another hockey connection, Bobby Clarke had a great career and handled his diabetes.
Get well soon Mrs. Hoke.
Go Komets.

Tim,

Glad to hear your wife is doing better. I know how difficult it is to mange diabetes. Kathleen has Type 2, does a good job managing it, but we know someone who recently lost part of his right foot because of it.

Let's get a win tonight.

Tim, has your wife or her doctor considered the insulin pump? It is worn on the body 24/7, and it automatically checks glucose levels and dispenses the insulin accordingly to eliminate any spikes. Wishing both of you well. Enjoy that Florida sunshine!

To Mike Bob and JB: Thanks so much for your concern and wishes!! Jb she is on the pump but her pancreis (sic) is acting up which is complicating the process. Once that settles down maybe things get better. Yes Bobby Clarke excelled with diadetes as well as Brent Henley did. We all pray for a cure for a cure for diabetes!! Thanks again. Tim
