I know some of us joke about the Grammar Police, but, jeez:
An Auckland accountant was sacked for sending "confrontational" emails with words in red, in bold and in capital letters.
Vicki Walker, who was a financial controller with ProCare Health, has been awarded $17,000 for unfair dismissal, and plans to lodge an appeal for further compensation.
[. . .]
ProCare told the authority Walker - who was fired in December 2007 after two years of employment - had caused disharmony in the workplace by using block capitals, bold typeface and red text in her emails.
I hope you aren't upset about having to read this story. But if you are, I DON"T REALLY CARE, BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME, OK?

From the Encyclopedia Dramatica comes a post in defense of ALL CAPS. Be aware that the post begins: "This article is perfect. Don't f~&k with it!" and things go downhill from there.
To those who truly believe that 'ALL CAPS" is a form of yelling, may I suggest a national campaign to eliminate the Cap Lock key from computer keyboards.

LOL!
I think the word they all seemed to "miss" here is called EMPHASIS!
I find it more than amusing...and here I thought we had a lot BIGGER fish to fry in our society.
