Fisher residents are facing an interesting decision:
City or town?
Fishers residents will decide in May.
The Town Council-appointed City-Town Study Committee spent most of 2009 examining the pros and cons of Fishers becoming a city. The study culminated in a report that likely will be distributed to residents as the vote approaches, said David George, Town Council vice president.
Personally, I think I'd rather live in a big town than a small city. But "local conditions may vary." The change would also give Fishers a mayor instead of the current town council/town manager arrangement. The bigger a place gets, the harder it is to run by committee.

And remember...it takes a VILLAGE to build a TOWN...or was that a BOROUGH?
Maybe it was a HAMLET (act II, scene III).
