According to the UHL office, IceHogs coach Steve Martinson will be at tonight's game, and will serve his one-game suspension at Rockford's next home game on April 7.
The IceHogs' Robin Big Snake will not play tonight because of a suspension from a game March 24 in Danbury.
Which leads to today's story:

See you at the game.

I don't understand...how does he get to choose which game he serves the suspension?
He doesn't, the league does.
Blake, look into your crytal ball. Will tonight's game be as exciting as we hope it should be?
Make that crystal ball. Sorry
If Blake had a crystal ball...he would have won the Powerball jackpot, his NCAA Brackets would have been absolute perfection unlike mine (another story!) and I am sure that he would be eh, having a real good time with the honeys that Scoops was telling us about.
So FW gets screwed again. A player we actually pay to see play will be crossed off by the league for some silly reason.
This falls right in line with the overabundance of misconduct penalties you see any more. Back in the day, a guy had to really get out of line for a 10 minute misconduct.
I pay money (a lot in FW) to see guys play and appear on the ice. Not sit in the stands or the penalty box for 10 minutes at a stretch. Yes, I'll admit it, I pay to see Big Snake fight someone. You won't see it tonite.
If they want to punish him, make him sit out at home.
I wouldn't be surprised if things got rough. The IceHogs are very depleted and the Komets are making an effort to come out hitting, especially at home. I'm just not sure who Rockford has who would go.
Rockford was so depleated with bodies it really should have been a no contest except our guys stop playing at the start of 3rd period. Also Rockford will get back their call ups before the playoffs start and that includes Bill Tibbetts who is with Chicago. They also may get Lutz back for the playoffs.
I was told it's doubtful on Lutz because he signed a full AHL contract. I don't think they are counting on him. They did have a ton of guys out tonight and it looked it in the second period.
