D-men who get the job done are worth their weight in gold. Aldoff is a product of Minnesota-Duluth. Ryan Coole and Steve Rodberg were two other Duluth D-men we had for awhile a few years back.

I can not think of a year better than this for add ons. I don't want to make lite of the fact that guys just like playing for Al Sims. He is like a kid in a candy store. He seems to really be enjoying his coaching experience in the Fort. He absolutely gets everything he can from the players he has.

I agree. This has been a great year for add ons. In fact, if Boucher doesn't win the K's MVP then I think it should go to Thomas. He has hustled, worked hard, and scored. Versteeg-Lytwyn is very solid. O'Connor has been a pleasant surprise and Aldoff is providing the defenseive play that is making this team come together at just the right time. If we can go the rest of the year and stay HEALTHY then I don't see an area of the team that is weak. This team has the potential to win it all. JUst stay healthy and play hard.

I hope the Komets can keep some of these great players for next year so we don't have to start over again. I would love to see Aldoff, Thomas, Versteeg-Lytwyn, and other Komets return next year. Everyone knows...It's not just hockey. It's Komet hockey! ha

Who wouldnt want to play here? A first class building and first class management and the best fans in the IHL!! Fredrick Bouchard can stay away however! LOL.
