The first annual golf outing fundraiser for the Roy Chin Foundation for Scholarships and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana will be held July 10 at Lakeside Golf Club. Chin became an official in 1959 and then organized all the other referees and linesmen for 49 years, and when they couldn't make it, he'd work the game so the kids could play. The cost is $60 per person for the Florida scramble event with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The fees include cart, food and beverages, There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a skins game which will cost extra. For more information, contact Lakeside at 422-8714 or Bill Erickson at 241-7170.
