Terry Thomson was a good defenseman that got overlooked in his day.

Here's how long I have been going to games. Don Atchison, Terry Thomson (still have an autographed stick from him), Cal Purinton and Terry Pembroke, Jim Pearson, and the Captain Bob Fitchner. Well Blake, did I pass?

Blake, a few moments ago I posted and it didn't show. Did it go to spam?
Incidentally, the 72-73 team was my favorite and arguably the best ever.

I bet I am the only guy who knows who the police sgt. is leaning against the column."Sgt. Dean Heingartner" In my opinion a real honest to God hero. He was seriously wounded at Creighton and Anthony when Kenny Stiverson was killed. He still managed to shoot the attacker and stop him. He lost one eye in the shootout. One of the nicest men you will ever know and tough as nails.

Wow, Dschebig, I know Kenny Stiverson's sons....small world, eh? I used to hang out with them both when I was in my younger years. Weird.
And ok, all this talk of former players and people bolting for Europe on a former thread had me wondering....last season we had a guy who played for like 2 games maybe. He was #13 (my favorite number, which is why I remember the number). He left and went to Europe. Does anyone remember his name??? I can't recall what team he even went to, but it seems like he was a defenseman.
