All week long I've been haunted by a feeling of trepidation regarding this first game of the series.
The Komets have been slow starters when playing their first game of any week this year. They are going up against the past champion who "proved" it by coming back and winning their division. They start on the road. They play against a team with no apparent lack of confidence when it comes to scoring. They have lost twice this year to the team and haven't given them any reason to doubt themselves. Plus, after all of that, and maybe even more disturbing, I never know which "Komet" team will show up.
My prediction ( or theory or educated guess ) is this, and simply this: Whoever wins game one will win the series.

I think we could have won, until Blake made his prediction.LOL.
If they give the same effort throughout the line up as they did in the first series, it could go 5. That long trip being the deciding factor in Rapid City prevailing.
To Alan's point, home ice in a short series is critical. If FW could steal that first one.....all bets are off.
