God, I love this business. MTV's "Skins" is getting some heat for showing its underage stars in a racy photo spread in Elle magazine. Is it appropriate for the TV show to do that? Is it appropriate for Elle to do it? The New York Daily News explores those provocative questions and, naturally, they have to let people know exactly what they're talking about, so they get to show the same racy pictures along with a story quoting people saying showing such racy pictures is troubling.
Can I play, too? I find it troubling that the Daily News would show the racy photos they say other people find troubling the fact that Elle would run them. This photo is one of the ones I'm talking about.
See what I mean? It's deplorable that a newspaper would run do a story about the controversy over provocative photos just as an excuse to run those same provocative photos. Scandolous.

Scandolous indeed!
Ya got any more?
Remember the Danish cartoons of Mohammed a few years ago that had the Islamic world in a fit? The IPFW student newspaper did a story on the issue, printing the story on the front page with a note that the pictures could be found inside on another page. This was supposed to allow the curious to satisfy themselves, while allowing the more pious to easily avoid being offended with having to see the pictures.
Unfortunately, they accidently printed the wrong page number for the pictures.
