I don't know how a Blackhawks fan could have anything to do with the Dolts, er, I mean Colts. Guess that's what happens when you drink foo foos and pop those funny pills.........

So back to hockey news, is the new jersey that the Komets are going to wear on opening night the "Stars and Stripes" jersey from the KK website? If so, I hope they look a lot better in person than in a pic on the web!!! That thing looks bad...

I have one, it is ok.

I think the new jersey is going to be the reverse of the Black, red and white jersey from last season, with it being White, with red and black trim....

I think they need to do something else, IMO.

I need more jerseys :)

From what I heard Hit is pretty close, I can't remember the color of the outline on the lettering but I believe it's red.

I think (I know that is dangerous) the "Black" sweaters last year were the "road" sweaters from the era. The "White" would be the "home" sweater. This way those of you who are into hockey sweaters (jerseys for you less informed) would be able to have a complete set. I really don't know that for fact but it does make some sense if you think about it.

I hate red on Komets jerseys. I don't care about the "historical" factor. Get rid of the red and put some Orange on em.

I'm right there with ya, JM! We are the Komets! We wear orange and black, not red!

They could just as easily make these jerseys the same but leave out the red and keep the orange.

I have actually enjoyed wearing non orange and black clothes in the Komet off season, but I'm looking forward to it starting back up...and I agree....lose the red. We aren't Port Huron.

And I laughed, Burgee....it's nice to see something non-hockey for 5 minutes out of my 5 hockey days per week schedule....I guess maybe other people don't have theirs as full of hockey as mine is during the summer so they only want hockey, so they did not appreciate the mental channel change....LOL....it's ok, don't let it get ya down. :)
