As long as I can get approval from Hit Somebody, I'm going on vacation until early July. Behave yourselves. Please. I'll be spending all the ill-gotten gains I've received from running this blog over the last few years on wine, women and song, meaning it'll be water, Barbie and the Bee Gees marathon. No foo foos for me. Then it will be time to come back and start on the football tab.

Didn't you just have a vacation in mid/late May? You lazy, son-of-a... ;) Bee Gees, huh? Well, "Stayin' Alive" does seem to be the theme this summer. he-he. Have a good one. BTW, I've heard that there will probably be a Komets marathon in the last few days of June. If they run the legendary "lost episode" with Mike from Toronto, I'll be sure to mention it here.

This means Our 4 IHL teams + Evansville plus 4 CHL teams in our division.

Listen up! I have it on a very good source that our Leader (Blake) is riding his bike to Vegas. He is going to try and and get us the straight skinny on what is happening at the IHL/CHL more commonly called the ASSOCIATION meetings.
Let us remember that he gets paid by the hits on his blog.
Besides someone needs to be complaining/cheering/ranting/raving about something all the time anyhow. So we might as well do it here!
Just remember our "Leader" expects us to keep it clean & respectful. While he's away the mice will play!

What do you want to bet that when the meetings in Vegas are over, they put out a news release that only tells us what we already know, and then we will hear that meetings are ongoing via conference call, but not to worry, because more information will be released soon?
Wendy--Being the eternal optimist I think after the meetings there will be a joint press conference with a detailed release of this fantastic "New" Association. They will then and try and sell us on the fact that this will be the best thing for minor league hockey since the guy invented ice skates. Of course we will all drink the Kool-Aid and know what a crock of crapola they just sold us. At that point we are all smart enough to know that only time will tell.
Mean while back to the pool and golf all summer. Taking those little pills Burgee supplies and drinking Foo Foo's as I struggle with hockey withdraw. I just can not drink the suntan lotion. Blood Mary's make me think of Red Headed hockey chicks. They taste great but give me a headache if I drink to many. Ain't life great?
Yes, of course. Greatest thing since sliced bread. That goes without saying. It's just a question of whether or not they begin the rigmarole on Friday or not.

ME TOO!!!!!!!! I fell at work & now have a bruised left hand to go with rotator cuff surgery/ how about a "loverman" equal parts=jamacan rum, coconut rum, southern comfort,grenadine, long splash of pineapple juice.
LOL...Jungle Monkey, it's like you know me or something....yep, my dad may have overheard that line a time or two when I was younger. Oops....
And I feel absolutely no need myself to be monitored. If Blake's pedaling to Vegas, he might need a heart monitor when he gets there....I know I probably would! I doubt I'd make it there without a motor and wider wheels.

I bet I have more pills than Burgee / the "loverman" drink I had in the Bahamas/work is hazardous to my health=that is where I tore the rotator cuff :( / any news from IHL meetings?
