on Thursday I woulda told you I was hopeful we didn't play Colorado .... but after this weekend I would kinda like to see it ....

just a fan-I almost said the same thing! When we know that we CAN win against them..makes it almost seem like why not go for the HUGE win against Colorado...but I will be really happy with Bloomington...so whatever happens and whoever we end up against..at least we aren't just writing the komets off now. They CAN do it...hopefully they WILL! :)
I was pretty well guessed most of the winners - good call on Cescon for the 5-30 Unsung Hero. We need to keep him in orange and black!
Also liked APod getting most improved player. I can see him and Ratchuk (especially if he's up front) giving whoever we play fits.

5 out of a possible 6 points is a good way to go into the post-season. Two very good games against the top team in our conference!
Not to be picky... but they go over the criteria for awards, one of which for most improved is being on the roster at the beginning of the season.... then they give it to aPod.. who came in the middle of the season.
I don't have an issue with him getting the award, just would have left that part out.

I thought the same thing JM, when they said the award i picked APOD then they said he had to be on the since the beginning of the season so i went with Frankie (just a guess) Then they said APOD and was wondering how he was eligible. BTW great game by the K's Not trying to start a argument but i thought Schrock took a bit of a dive on the highstick penalty i thought.
Looks like Rapid City is going to win and win the conference. Colorado will finish second and we'll wait and see tomorrow on Bloomington or Missouri.

How did A-Pod win the award he did when one of the requirements was that the player had to play here all season? My mind isn't working so i can't remember what award it was..
Had a couple of fans near us go nuts because Frankie didn't get the MVP. I mean really upset. However, they are big fans of his act like he is a one man team anyway.
To me MVP is one of the most "honest" awards because the players vote for it themselves and they're the ones who would know.
"Interesting" awards recipients to cap an "interesting" season.
