Random thought... So glad I was wrong about Rides. He was poise, didn't give up rebounds, and didn't overplay the shooter in the corner. Hopefully the Ks can ride him all the way to the cup!!!

This league is turning out to be a joke. If there is no fine and suspension for at least two of the rapid city losers then it's time for the komets to join a real league. ECHL. The one-ice oficials need to be fined and sent back to school also. Great game Komets. A solid game all around.

Link worked for me too....what a bunch of losers, in every sense of the word. Rapid City showed their true colors as far as I am concerned, and so did the refs who let this game get WAY far out of control by not calling some of the extraordinarily obvious penalties that needed to be called. Reaney is definitely a giant crybaby about every single call that does not go his way, and wow, half the team can throw the cheap shots even up there with Wichita and our old buddies Muskegon. I'm just glad we stuck to Frodawg's solid advice and just got things taken care of by just playing hockey, instead of trying to win an Academy Award for acting.

Where's Beth and Frog dad and all the other RC defenders? I'll tell you where sitting in there dark apartments and wondering what happened to their glory boys. The Komets are in their heads and there is no way they will loose on Sunday. They can bring all the cowbells and Jack arses they want to the game they can't match the crowd we saw last night. I think we really got under their skin especially when Larry kept playing the you suck song over and over again.
I agree with Franke the coach and the team are bullies, liars and whiners. They deserve this league lets go to a real midwest league next year. Even the old IHL was better than this piece of garbage.

I gotta admit, I loved that, kometswin, the song over and over....it does get in your head! LOL....and I also loved that the crowd "got it" and sang, "and we just beat the h*** outta you" at the end of the game, rather than "and we're gonna...". My fellow fans are on it and boy do we stick together when it really counts. :)

There's no doubt Harvey hit Ratchuk and that it was all premeditated that he was going to take out someone. I hope there's other video because honestly this one doesn't show it too well. Hopefully someone within the league was there to see it live or the refs will tell it like it is.
I thought the ref did a good job - he let em play and took care of things when needed, except for the Harvey incident. He could have called an unsportsmanlike after his goal and he easily could have called slashing before that last face off. He never would have had the chance to hit Ratchuk if he'd have done that.
These guys deserve to get beat. But, if we don't do it I bet Colorado whips them. Whiners and liars eventually get what they deserve.
If Lardner, Patrosso and Leo can get involved in Game 5 we've got this locked. More than looking forward to it.

The thing I noticed was that after RC finally did score there was no celebration on their bench. No high-fives, no back-slapping, nothing. Someone mentioned earlier (don't know if it was here or elsewhere) what a tight-knit group the Rush seemed to be. Sure didn't show it last night...
And BTW, someone needs to remind Wade Weaver that you don't *ever* mention a shutout in progress, no matter how indirectly. Mom and I were saying "shut up... shut up... shut up!!" while he was talking about the 8-0 run. I blame him for RC's goal... grrr.
