Lots of interesting names. Bruce Richardson finally won a championship. Good for him. The fellow mentioned in the article that the K's could really use is Mark Smith. He left the Komets (when Puhalski was still here ) for Europe. He played 25 games for the K's and scored 17 goals.

I totally think we need to sign Jaramir Legault.....so we can put him on the IR and let him watch the playoffs from the stands.....that is the only way we 3-peat this year.

Funny they use soccer scoring rules for a playoff. hey you won the game but well you lose cause you gave up more goals the last game you lost so they win because they had more goals scored in the games combined.

For those of you who play my fantasy games and trivia games the baseball season is starting. Click the link below and use the league id and password to get in. When you click the link it may say you are not allowed to view. What you can do is next to league it says baseball '10 if you click that it should say join a league which would be a private league and put in the info. If that doesn't work just goto yahoo.com and click on their fantasy games and put the info in. Thanks for playing.

That's not the half of it. Over there they have (if I recall correctly) 4 different championships that teams can win -- this in a league that isn't that different in size from the IHL. And some games count towards certain things and others count for something else. Honestly, I don't know how they keep it all straight.

Charlie, we sometimes use the 2 games total goals here in Canada when scheduling ice time becomes an issue. You would think that a pro league would be able to schedule ice time wouldn't you?
Wendy the Youth leagues work like that up here. You can win your League then you have district then Provincial play downs. Some of the kids are done with their regular league schedules by the end of January and Winter isn't half over. If your team isn't very good you get to go curling early. LOL.

Any predictions for tonight's game? The predictions for Woods scoring the other night were pretty good, and accurate. Can we keep the streak alive of calling the scorers and possibly the score?

fleck: You could be correct. I think after the announcement I ended up making a quick food run. Thanks for the correction!

I'd love to see Shaf get some payback on Lawmaster. A nice two handed slash to the knee seems fair.. It'll never happen, but a guy can dream.

I understand what you mean, JungleMonkey. However I think the best "payback" would be for Shaf to score a couple of goals tonight leading the Komets to a victory.

Nothing like watching Shaf school the younger kids with amazing puck handling.

I have a feeling that the Komets win this one in a somewhat lop-sided affair and then all heck will break loose and some well deserved beatdowns of FuryJack players will occur.

Komets win this one 7-3.
