David Hukalo has a concussion along with his stitches and will miss the rest of the weekend... so will goaltender Nick Boucher. Parris Duffus, who was at tonight's game with his son, will be the emergency back-up the rest of the weekend... Bobby Phillips scored his first pro goal and his first goal in more than two years to tie the score in the third period... The MacMillan-Sawyer fight was because of Sawyer's hit on Rick Varone, MacMillan said... I thought Sean O'Connor played a very good game essentially on one leg after getting hit by the Fort Wayne bench early in the second period... Talked with a couple of players post-game who agreed with my that Ryan Carroll did a good job calling the game... Anybody else wondering why the Komets' defensemen pinch so much and so deep

Bobby Phillips is the best defenseman on the roster. DeAngelis... not so much..
MacMillan took Sawyer out behind the woodshed. Some guy in 215 was letting Sawyer have it the rest of the night. :-)

Oh yeah, Big Snake... He might be one of a VERY small group of players that I wouldn't support in Orange and Black. The guy has never lived up to the hype. He cherry picks fights and has a huge ego and attitude problem.

why is boucher sitting??
back in 05-07 when he was with rockford he put up 40+ pts both seasons. i think he could play if he was given the opportunity and the right coach. but when hes being sent on the ice to beat a guy he wont get a shot to score much....i'd give him a shot...but if the silliness started he'd be on his way.....
Big Snake is NOT the same Big Snake as he was in Rockford. If he was, I wouldn't mind so much if he played for the Komets...maybe. JM is right, he had his ego problems in Rockford and they aren't needed in FW.
