Tailing the Komets

Something else that is really cool

Thanks to our web technical people Keith Hitchens and Melody Schmitt-Foreman, with a HUGE assist from cable access producer Pat Stelte, we've now got what we hope are the first of what will be weekly highlights up on our web site. You can access them by going to our Komets' site here, or by hitting the link on the left side called Komets coverage. The schedule for the Game of the Week can also be found there.

On a completely distracting point, listen to the highlights, and you'll understand why this is also what I imagine it sounds like when Randi gets lucky (can we even say that on an PG-rated blog? LOL). His color person for this game is all-time Komets great George Drysdale. Where's Tim Hoke when you desperately need him? You have to love and respect people who can do something like this for 17 years with no pay, and Randi, Tim and Pat have done it every week since 1990. I'm in awe.

Almost as much as I am of Melody and Keith. Melody in particular deserves some kudos for this project because she works her tail off to make Keith look good. LOL. Even though I never understand it, I just do what Keith tells me to after going ``Huh?'' about six times. So thanks to Melody, Keith and Pat for something I think will be pretty special throughout the season.

Enjoy.

Great job on the site, Melody and Keith!

That Voorhees/Rudenko goal was awesome. I don't remember seeing that one, but I'm sure I was there. LOL

That is really cool! As a Komet fan who no longer lives in Fort Wayne, I appreciate anything available online that lets me see my boys in action! I wish I could get the game of the week, but this is almost as good! Wow, that's a lot of exclaimation points, isn't it?
