In honor of Kevin breaking the UHL shutout record and the Komets' long history of great goaltending, you've got a winner-take-all game to play. Who of the former Komets goaltenders would you want in net for this one game?

I can only go back to the 1990 season..
I'm gonna have to say Eldon "Pokey" Reddick in his form he was in, in the early 1990s. He was an awesome goaltender.
I would have to say Tom Lawson or even Doug Teskey. They both were great goalies. I wasn't old enough to really get how Pokey played in the 90's but when he tried his comeback I wasn't to impressed, but he must of had something in the day for them to want him back I just never saw him play in the 90's so I couldn't say.
JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is a worthy goalie list for UHL and IHL Komets:
UHL
Doug Teskey (99-02)145g
Tom Lawson (02-03)56g
Kevin St. Pierre (03-present)125g
Tyler Masters (04-05)
IHL (alphabetical order)
Chuck Adamson (62-67)205g
Bob Essena (88,96)67g
Robbie Irons (67-81)522g
Mike O'Neill (90-95)80g
Bruce Racine (97-99) 97g
Jerry Randall (65-69)124g
Glenn Ramsey (58-59)60g
Pokie Riddick (84-02, 4 years)143g
Jack Seimon (52-53)56g
Ivan Walmsley (53-58, 3 years) 124g
Reno Zanier (59-62) 199g
Kevin Weekes, nuff said.
St Pierre's shutout record speaks for itself. Pokey Reddick was very impressive. Why hasn't anyone mentioned Murray Bannerman, who went on to the Chicago Blackhawks? Am I really that old?
frenchy all the way!
I am a NY Rangers fan so Kevin Weekes is a good pick in my book!!!
Fantastic! Other NY Rangers fans!
I'd go with Kev Weekes, too! But Frenchy is a close second pick.
Tom Lawson was Awesome a couple of years back in the "U". Kevin Weekes would do.
1972 - Don Atchison
I will stay in the UHL Era and go with Frenchy and Lawson as the backup. A name that is missing from Patrick's list: Stephane Beauregard. He played here in the late 80's and early 90's and spent some time in the NHL.

I'll also through one in for Weeke's!! But man is it hard to forget the wanna be legend of Ray LeBlanc!
Constantine Simchuk is a legend.
No one has mentioned who I would pick, Bruce Racine. He was the most consistent goaltender I've ever seen with the Ks. Second, I'd take Bob Essensa, the fastest glove hand around.
Jimi St. John without a doubt!
rick (roagie) wynn
come on edgar i now roggie real well.
very good friend
Of the Komet goaltenders I have watched, I would go with either Stephane Beauregard, or Pokie. Frenchy is certainly up there with them, but I remember watching those guys have incredible games even when the K's defense was less than desirable. Sure, St. Pierre has those kinds of games too, but I grew up watching those guys and memories of the Turner Cup Championships are hard to forget.
I started a new blog titled Indiana PhoBLOGrapher where I will be posting some photos that I shoot for The News-Sentinel that don't get published in the paper.
