Videos from the Fort Wayne Sports Corporation's Sports Heritage Project.
Thanks to Ken Furniss and Art Saltsberg for doing such great work on this. This was a seven-year project we worked out. You can see the rest of the videos at the kiosk in the coliseum

Fabulous Stuff!!! The first video was great.
The second video brought tears to my eyes as they showed highlights of the 4 Cups in and their highlights. Watching the Komets v. Port Huron clips and the Hodgman game winner...wow. Greatest Game I have ever seen...period.
I miss Art Saltsberg x100 as I loved him on WOWO doing SpotsTalk with Dean Pantazi......Wish that thing would come back. Nothing has ever replaced that.
Which goal was bigger in your opinion.....the Virag goal, or the Hodgman goal??? It seems like a toss-up to me. I have to say, both are 2 of the greatest games I have ever seen.
We are spoiled rotten in Fort Wayne....the games we have seen over the years with first class teams and first class people all the way around the Komets.
Thanks for posting that video.
Great job to all that made that possible.
Wish there was lots more video like that to watch, I love seeing it.
That was great wish there were more videos!
This is awesome!!
Thank you for posting these videos! This is just incredible stuff and I really think the Komets should show these on the big screen.
Hits post said it all, we are spoiled here in Fort Wayne and are very lucky to have such a great rich tradition of hockey here in Fort Wayne! The videos defintely gave me goose bumps!
Those videos makes me want to see a fight off the opening faceoff :)
Wonderful memories. I have been a fan since 1987 and I have been fortunate to have witnessed five championships (1993, 2003, 2008, 2009, 2010) all of them won at the Memorial Coliseum.
Thanks, guys. I'm very appreciative of the chance I had to work with Ken and Art. It was exhausting, but we had a ton of fun. Definitely an all-time great experience. We knew we were making something that would last a long time and help define Fort Wayne's sports history.
I always wonder what the odds are that they'd win five in a row at home like that. They must be astronomical. Seven out of eight overall, too.
Wonderful--thanks so much! Our history will continue on and we'll show how we can adapt to change and progress and have more championship years ahead!
