Tailing the Komets

This sounds familiar

Down 3-2 after two periods to a really bad team, out-shooting them by a wide, wide margin. What does that tell you? I haven't seen any of the game, but it leads me to believe there's no one in front of the goaltender screening him or getting to rebounds again. Man, do they miss Lance. Somebody has to step up.

no kidding blake,

Hunter scores 2 goals in the 1st minute then the Komets fall completely off the face of the earth. I wonder if the shots the Komets are getting are quality shots...or are they just from the outside...

Sounds like the Komets played an inspired 3rd period to win the game..

is that the 1st comeback win in the 3rd period for the Komets this season...

Good to see Hunter tear it up his 1st game back off injury. CONGRATS! nice win even if it's over Missouri. Nice Job Kurky!

You know if we are going to struggle against 2 of the worst teams in the UHL, Missouri and Port Huron, then what do u think the score will be on Sunday against Kzoo?

well considering that Kalamazoo lost to Elmira tonight in Kalamazoo then I think it will be a close game. Plus the Komets play against the Wings well so I'll say Komets 3 Kalamazoo 2.

Props to Hunter. One of the guys I haven't been a big fan of all year. The same complaints I have had all year seem to be aired here. Nobody screening, nobody being tough in front of the net. I really hope were not peaking too soon. Not trying to be a negative nelly, but I hope we don't wear ourselves out with all the hard play now. Hope we have some left for when it really counts. Looking forward to "Wild Thing" coming back. (That is the only time you will EVER hear me refer to Lance as that). I am really optimistic about our cup run outside of the fear of us running out of steam.

Perhaps that is why Mr. Galante named his son (18 year old at the time) President. If anything happened, he could blame the kid. Before this, the kid's biggest claim to fame was his record number of PIM's in a season playing high school hockey.

Couldn't get the link to work. :( Mind trying again?? By the way, nice game tonight. Little boring. Glad to see the playoff win. Jorde had that guy whooped until he got ahold of his left arm. Frawley stepping up was a nice present. Everybody be sure to show up early next sunday so they can get our poster!!LOL.

Meant to say shootout win. Wrigley Field was too generous on the Absolut tonight.
