if these are real accurate. think it would of been cool if they had F-W on each of the sleeves instead of scribble.

Horrendous and over the top, much like their sponsorship caked on the ice.

Ah well, that's nothing new, although it has been awhile. I was hoping that they went straight back to their first season.

I loved the jersey's last year, thought they were great, but these are a step above the horrendous flame jerseys and on par with the silly Christmas ones. They will make the team look like a bunch of doof's.
Frankes got it right..awesome jersey..never bought one..but will buy this one..the spaceman is vintage .

Hello, Hockey Fans in Canada and the United States and Newfoundland. The vintage Spaceman could have been on one or both sleeves.
A front crest that had some detail pertaining to the history of the team, perhaps championship years. Plus the number 50 incorporated with the "K" would have been classic. Sorry, but I don't think this jersey does justice to the rich history of Komet hockey.

Well it could have been a picture of the fort or one with the entire state of Indiana......see it could be worse......actually I think they are sweet and hope there will be one in Orange which would make it sweeter

Welcome back Mike.
Let's hope that the ghost of Foster never has to say "Hello Hockey Fans in Canada, the United States and Quebec" .
Hopefully the work of the late great Jack Layton put that to rest :)

If anyone was wondering why I've been droning on and on about getting goal scorers, just take a close look at the standings for the 52-53 Komets. In 60 games they scored only 182 goals. Compare that figure to last year. In 66 games they scored 187 goals. Thanks, Chauker, for the link.
I always have thought the "spaceman" jersey was the best. Maybe it was just the era I grew up in. It was and always will be my favorite. For those who don't care for it, I'm thinking that probably another jersey will show up sometime this year.
Welcome back Mike in Toronto. Good to hear from you again.

MIke in toronto....my 5th grader is doing a big social studies project on the great lakes....he's been reading up on Lake Ontario, so we keep seeing the name of your region. Just saw your name and thought of that. Loved the area when we visited this summer and cannot wait to come back! Enjoy the season :)

Captain Komet is alittle super-imposed but something to get use too. Maybe itll freak out the other teams.

I have bee keeping up with the blog. I haven't really read or seen anything to comment about until the new sweater was shown. As with everything on the blog there are two trains of thought that is a good thing. Really looking forward to another season on Komet hockey. I am sure things will get interesting both on the ice and on the blog.
It is our Thanksgiving this weekend. Wishing everyone well during difficult times.
Let's do the Rick Jennerette. POMMANDVILLE (sp) scoooooooooooooooooooooooores. I can't display the octave or decibel at which this would be delivered. LOL
