“While we are obviously disappointed by the announcement from Kalamazoo concerning its departure from the International Hockey League, we are certainly confident in the plan of action the league has been building.
“Given the fact there are so many positive things on the horizon for the league regarding expansion, we feel very good about the direction things are headed and the overall strength of the IHL.
“The strength of the league should become very evident within the next few weeks. When you combine the love of hockey by fans here in Central Illinois and through the rest of the league with the passion of the leaders of both our team and the league, you create a strategy for success.”

Good statment from them.
Now I don't hate Bloomington as much.... Well, not until I see them on our ice again anyways :)
Toe, Robbie and George, when they finished laughing, said only if you were the primary owner, like 99 percent. I heard George's wife Rho is particularly looking for you.
From what I've always understood, there was more to the ownership group than just the Buddy's guys. We'll find out more next week.
If I had the money I would and I hire them all. Robbie as GM, George as President and Rho as the muscle..
There you go! LOL.
Blake has to be tired running down all of this for at least 2 solid days.....did you see this coming Blake? When did you realize the rumors were real?
Great Work Super Fan!!!
Get the Paul Pickard interview and you have pulled off a miracle.
What would be the fair market value the Frankes would take for the K's? They are not selling the K's and why would they I am sure the enjoy what they are doing and making some money. This league is their idea they are going to sink or swim no matter what. The only way they sink is if another team or two bolts for greener pastures until that happens there will be a third season of IHL hockey. If the league gains two teams for the lost of one then you could say the league is ahead. If this would have been Flint doing all this we all would be fine with that. It does seem like the IHL will take one step forward but always takes another two steps backwards
