Tailing the Komets

Stats and stuff

How about considering Dinner with a Komet?

Komets finish up 5-1 in Quad City this year, out-scoring the Mallards 20-9. They are 9-1-1 against the Mallards overall with three games to go in Fort Wayne.

The Komets have allowed only six power-play goals in their opponents' last 65 chances against. With Wednesday's performance, they have passed Port Huron for the International Hockey League lead in penalty kills at 87.0 percent compared to the IceHawks' 86.8 percent.

They didn't give up any goals in nine Quad City chances last night.

I wonder if the Komets guys are approaching this dinner like the guys in Slap Shot approach the fashion show? One of the funniest parts of that movie IMO.

Good win on the road. I will say this, the games against QC and even Bloomington may be some of the most boring games to watch this year. Last night's game was a yawner other than the fact we won.

I think they should have to serve the food wearing in-line roller skates kind of like those waitresses at drive-in places in the 50s.

Er... finish up? Don't they place in QC once more on April 16?
