Maybe...it scared you enough to realize...you can't fight...major props on sticking up for your teammates...now go to the front of the net and score goals...

At least Stayzer has the intestinal fortitude to sacrifice a lil pride while standing up for his teammates by doing something he's not the best at...! Several Komets would do well by following his example instead of skating away looking at the ice.......

Couldn't agree with you more, JR. I can't believe a guy on our team goes out there, plays hard all the time, takes some for teammates who aren't willing, gets hurt to the point of a concussion, and there are people on here who will talk them down. I take that back, I can believe it. Some people are pretty shady in my opinion. If Stayzer reads this, I say thanks for the heart and hard play a lot of your teammates have lost. I hated you last year but you've gained me as a fan this year as a K. You play hard and are versatile. Hope to see you healthy soon.

Maybe the only good thing is he doesn't remember the boos he was getting from the ``fans'' as he was being helped to the bench.

+1 to Frozen Water... Didn't like Stayzer as a Kwing but now I'm a fan.

I am not sure anyone liked Stayzer as a kwing. who likes those kwings anyway?!?!? I definitely give Stayzer props for sticking up for his teammates. I look definitely want him on my team if I were a komet. Also, sticking up for teammates seams to be a theme this year...I wish we could lose it and have the problem taken care of.

That's interesting. I never had any problems with headaches, light sensitivity, confusion or memory. Not at all. But man, the nausea was killer. I couldn't keep much down for three days. Head injures make you sick to your stomach. Who knew?

I had a stage 3 concussion after a serious auto accident a few years ago. Then the day after that I went and did a game at the Komets. I have no memory of doing the game except that I was so dizzy going down the stairs I thought I was going to tumble down the steps. As for Blair sticking up for the guys I always liked that even if he did lose a few. We had so many complaining we werent getting that and when Blair did he gets crap for not winning the fights! Talk about some fickle people!!!!!!!!!

+100 for those who did NOT boo Stayzer after losing a fight. And Frozen Water, I don;t always agree with your posts on things, but that was awesome. I like the guy for having the guts t not back down and to protect those guys who we do need out there when it's required. Wonder if those who are ripping on him on this blog would have the fortitude (thanks for that word) to do that same thing when it was asked of them. I'm not sure I would. Maybe in a Wendy's in Toledo, but that's all. (Wendy, you might get that joke....)

Yes, I do BLB. I have to admit, though, that I find it kind of odd that so many people are quick to say that they wouldn't drop the gloves. That's always been my biggest fear. That something would happen in which someone would need me to risk or give my own life, and I'd be afraid to do it. That is, I'm afraid of being too afraid to act. So all these people saying "Heck no, I wouldn't drop the gloves" just amazes me.
