Blake - Could you do me a favor and list the Komets who are currently injured and on the IR? I keep reading how people would like the team to standup for their teammates, and I understand where they are coming from, but I'm curious as to what the current roster looks like. Wanting to defend someone can be complex if you are already shorthanded. Is the risk of the penalty and possible suspension worth it when a team is down players? A list of those Komets who are known to be out for sometime would be great. Thanks.
how did the fight go?? i hope stayzer kicked his booty! :)
To ALL--The $5.00 promotion the Muskegon used for Sunday was just that. ALL HYPE! It was the first Sunday afternoon game this year. They used the Halloween game to hype up ticket sales just like we said earlier. They have $5.00 tickets every game they have on Sunday afternoons. There were 2,900 + fans at the game. I thought the Stayzer/Lawmaster scrum (It wasn't much of a fight) was a draw. At least from where I was sitting.
If anyone cares Blake is a very good/safe driver.
OK, as far as I know right now, which could change today:
Bertram comes off IR this week and will play Friday.
Shaf is on 30-day IR.
Stayzer has a sore shoulder to be evaluated this week.
MacMillan is on suspension with 11 games to go so you can not replace him on the active roster.
Danko has the flu.
Syroczynski is called up to AHL. We'll find out more this week.
Boucher is out with a broken finger. I think the Komets will re-sign Tyler Sims to a second emergency tryout contract this week.
That should cover it.
Thanks Blake, I appreciate the response and the information. Thanks again.
Now I have this image of Blake mumbling "I'm an excellent driver" over and over like Rainman. LOL
What about Jimmy Bonneau returning?
He hasn't been released by Rochester. In fact, they've got him making appearances all over the place.
bonneau has signed a regular contract with them dont think he will be back
