A jockey named Larry Sterling Jr. road in a race today at Churchill Downs (not the Derby, a prelim). He didn't place. Hope it's an omen.

Just listened to the pregame interview with Stan Drullia. He's complaining about the lay out in Fort Wayne. Says with the way the benches are it's impossible to do a fast line change and match up, Fort Wayne has a definite advantage there. He said two years ago he petitioned the league to force the Komets to swap benches. It was turned down. Maybe Al needs to petition the league asking for PH to stretch their ice to a more regulation size...

I just noticed the ushers there hold a rope across the entrances during play to keep people from coming and going. Wish the Coliseum would start doing that.

Dracula is an idiot too....That is why it is a home ice advantage.....
How many times have we seen opposing players jump out of the penalty box and go one on none to the net to score a goal though.....several that I can recall just this year.
by the way....Boucher was just both good and lucky as he was laying on his back and somehow kept the goal out of the net....as they hit the post too.
