I wish Jake would just play a simple game because when he does he is solid, but he takes to many chances of pinching. For the play-off's I wish there was video review for just that situation last night or at least have goal judges from other teams. I know the "cost" factor but to have an OT game end in controversey is not how it should be. Both teams played hard. I wonder if Bootland will play Martin today pulling a Sims of last year alternating goaltenders under this format. The one thing the K's did not do a good job of last night was traffic in front of Tapp. Also, our PP is looking for the perfect shot, just get the puck on net!!

The puck handling was very very bad last night by everyone in Orange and Black. I have never seen so many whiffs on the puck and horrible passes.
Are these lines set in stone? I am not sure I like how guys are matched right now. I just don't see a whole lot of gel-ing out ther right now.
Let's try these:
Chaulk, O'Connor, Curadeau
Leo, Shafronov, MVL
Hukalo, Varone, Hodgeman
MacMillan getting lots-o-shifts. He has played well, and I all most pulled a legend out of the lines for him to get a regular shift.

does anyone think that we have some people on our team that like to control the puck 24/7? I see some people not passing at all, and it is really bothering me. does anyone see this happening or am I in left field?

Yes I see it, that is why I was throwing out the idea that maybe it is time to tweak the lines and put some veterans with rookies that could better set-up goals than all the over-handling of the puck where one guy tries to skate the air out of the puck and 4 guys stand and watch. That is also why I think MacMillan could take this one guys spot, as he did last night in overtime, and we might be better off.
Check the egos at the door, and play hard intense team hockey, enough of the dipsy-do puck handling and get back to crashing the net and going hard. This isn't the Harlem Globetrotters. Take notes on how O'Connor and how MacMillan have approached the playoffs....straight forward hard-nosed hockey. There are others that are doing it to, but these guys have really stuck out in my mind.
Sorry to say this Ka-Zoo, but there is no way the K-Wings should be able to skate with our team. The Komets need to get back to dominating the front of the net like they did the past 20 games of the season. They do that, and Ka-Zoo is done.

I'm not too worried about the series. It will be a hard fought one but we will prevail.

does anyone else think that hodgeman looked hurt last night? I think the slash he took friday night did something to him.
