Talk of the towns

Indianapolis is a big little city:

Ask people from Indianapolis how big their city is, and they'll tell you it's the 14th largest in the country.

And it is. At 798,382 people, the city of Indianapolis is bigger than all but a handful of American cities. It's got more people than Boston, Denver or Seattle. It has more than twice as many people as the City of St. Louis, which, with 356,730, ranks 52nd, looking up at Wichita.

But St. Louis is a little big city:
