I was told the lightning Friday night knocked out the sound system and it did not get checked until 6 p.m. The coliseum is trying to patch something together.

Gives the entire building a different feel. Sort of like a scrimmage in training camp.
Guess we just have to be extra loud tonight...We can do that
Kind of cool hearing the sounds of the game for a change.
Tell Larry no reason to give announcements can not hear them
KINDA fixed...Its atleast going on the end of the building with the Budweiser suite, doesn't really sound like its up anywhere else yet..With with echo its giving you can barely understand anything...Sounds like were in Dayton
OK, here's a stupid question. If lightning struck the building, why was the sound/electrical system not checked until 6:00 tonight? Seems kind of like something that should have been checked as early as possible, especially with the Cup Finals starting tonight, don't you think?
Yep.
I think they had it cranked up on the press box side extra loud trying to feed some of the sound to the other side. Wish my seat was on the side with no speakers working.
I was wondering why the sound PA was so soft early tonight.
Steve Says? That wasn't this Steve who has been on here for the couple of years. Who's using my name. Who dat?
It was a good point to bring up though.....
