Tailing the Komets

Things from the coach

On McWhinney: “He made some timely saves and the guys didn't quit in front of
him,'' Komets coach Pat Bingham said. “He rose to the occasion and worked hard.''

``He has massive potential and he's capable of making the big save,'' Bingham said. “He's not quite as systematic or as orthodox as Kevin (St. Pierre) is, but if he loses his position or his angle, he certainly battles to make that second save. He made a number of scrambling second saves throughout the course of the game.''

On the comeback: “I can't speak for everybody, but I try to show that never quit, never-say-die attitude,'' Bingham said. “The guys made me look good. If you work hard enough, you refuse to quit. You don't ever quit, you just run out of time. We happened to score before we ran out of time. It's a nice victory, a nice team-builder.''

Bingham also gave credit to injured forward Daniel Goneau who made the trip to Flint and worked behind the bench when he could have been home watching football.

Never say Never, Dan plays, we don't give up, we did just what we needed to do this weekend -- sweep.

Frenchy UHL Goalie of the week again
GAA 1.0
SP .972

Ruid and The Rock are very close to being UHL Co-Players of the week

Ruid 4G 2A +3 11 Shots 4PIM 2 Shoot Out Goals and a Hat Trick

Rock 4G 2A +1 16 Shots 4 PIM Hat Trick Game tying goal forcing shoot out in closing seconds

Edge to Ruid

Fan count - Lil Burgee two scoop balls

We sweep it again, if not someone is on dope. I bet the officials vote on this....no its Brosal...no its the owners....well i won't go there.

We have to be ready next friday and Flint will want a litte revenge saturday.

It has to be the owners fault...LOL They run this league you know. Dickie is just a puppet. A cute, bald puppet. The fans are just pawns in this big mad league known as the Elite Professional Hockey League. I am sure that a Muskegon player will get the player of the week. Can't show that much love to the Komets. Heck they all ready showered us with 45 penalties in one game.

not to change the subject, but it looks to me like port urine and flint will probably fold before the year is over. the season is new and fresh and these two hockey rich in tradition teams hosted the two best teams is the league sunday night and they could only draw 1400 and 1500 fans. sad.
