Saw this interesting video clip regarding minor league hockey refs. Funny, but I never thought about the refs having to work out and stretch before games too.

RK, my son's coach and his son met him Wednesday. He told me tonight that Mirasty is one of the nicest guys he has ever met. He talked to the kid the whole couple minutes they were in the hallway at the MC, remembered the kid's name, kneeled down to talk to the boy, and talked hockey with him (this kid is a little hockey phenom!). I have always heard Mirasty is a truly nice person, and would love to meet him, mainly for my own son to get his autograph and get the chance to talk hockey with him, but also just since he seems like a cool guy from what I've read about him.
