BB, I had always been told that what you see is what you get. These seats are the plan because they want to direct people to the restaurant. I understand there are problems with that from a fans' perspective, too.

after visiting and playing in many arenas last year with my kids travel team. let me tell you, the amount of seating needed is pretty much what has been installed already. the reality is canlan was built for recreation hockey and the amount of seating truly needed 80% of the time is for two teams set of parents. high school hockey withstanding, the seating is adequate with most recreation ice facilities. ask just about any travel hockey parent and they will gladly tell you the restaurant view is a welcome one. canlan is a top notch facility, and our teams have played in many arenas thru out the midwest. it truly is first class
