Some of you wondered what was going on with Guy Dupuis during the playoffs. This gives you some idea, though he'd never use anything as an excuse.

My thoughts and prayers will go to Guy, Nicole and the rest of the family.
Same here. Thoughts and prayers go out to you all.
Although I don't recall people talking negatively about Guy but regardless, this is why we shouldn't be throwing people under the bus sometimes for how they are performing on the ice. Any one of the players could be going through something in their personal lives in any year or any season.
Blake, thank you for writing such a wonderful story about faith, family and the things that really matter. In this day and age too many people turn away from God because He is not PC (politically correct) My wife and I will be keeping baby Matthew and the rest of the Dupuis family in our prayers.
Speechless....great article on a tragic yet inspiring story.
Our thought and prayers will continue to be with Guy and his family. We knew that there was something going on because we had seen several members of the Frankes and other people with the team offering support and hugging Guy before that road trip. David was telling him not to worry about anything concerning the team. Guy is a very special guy and we are so pleased that they have Matthew to hold. He sure kept up a good front for the fans. Most people would never have noticed anything different. I couldn't have played with that much on my mind.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Dupuis family.
a true ft wayne komet and class act!!!
Great story, Blake. Congratulations to Guy and his family on the birth of their son!
One word can sum up this story: Amazing. Prayer is a powerful thing, there is no denying it.
I just read about Guy & Nicole. It is nice to see that even in todays world we have wonderful people like Guy & Nicole that put all their faith in Gods hands. They are going to be truly great parents to Matthew. My husband & I will keep them in our prayers so God will be with them. I have always said that Guy is a great Komet player and always a class act in everthing he does. As a community we can give something back to his family and that is PRAYER.
