Question about the game... Are you sure that Jurynec won that faceoff at the end of the game? Because Chase said that Thomas won the faceoff but hit the puck too hard or something, putting it into our own net accidentally. I'm just trying to clarify because I wasn't there. Honestly, I'm not sure how anyone could see for certain from the press box. I can barely read the jersey numbers from that distance, but that's me.

Good question. I believe he has to be credited with a win since he got the goal.

The last Kazoo goal was scored by Leo Thomas. You must credit it to the Kalamazoo player closest to it. I can find no one that has ever seen that kind of a goal scored before. When that happens it is just not your night. You really can't fault Leo. It was his job to get the draw and he did. The D just didn't pinch.

I sit on the blue line (glass) at that faceoff circle. There's no question that Leo won the faceoff. Chaser had it right.

Oh, I'm not faulting Leo. Those things happen, and I'm sure no one feels worse about it than the players it has happened to. Yeah, I realize that they always credit such goals to the last opposing player to touch the puck. I was just expecting the newspapers to mention it the next day, but none of them said a word. That just seemed odd to me. Okay, so it isn't something to dwell on, but like I said, it happens, and anyone familiar with hockey knows that.
