No doubt about it, tonight's game is a must-win and I'm definitely pumped up for it. If the K's want to keep that Huber Trophy in the display case out front, they have to win this game. I'm interested, but I see it as nice-win not necessarily must-win.
The worst that happens if we lose tonight is we've got a few more points needed to get to first with plenty of games left. If we don't get first by the end of the season all that happens is we might lose a home-ice advantage, and we have a team that thrives on the road. It's all good.
I want and expect victory, but the boys are in fine shape win or lose.

After last season I find it tough to get up for most games this year. I do hope they win, but at least put forth a good effort.

As they say, they are all big games at this point in the season. A win tonight would cement their status as the team to beat in the playoffs. But as InTheBlue said, I didn't think we were going to obsess about winning home ice advantage this season, considering the team's road record. Not long ago, many people were saying it might be better if we didn't have home ice advantage. Of course, everything changes come the playoffs. All the rules go out the window. I learned that last year. So who knows what would be best.
