Very funny Blake. I bet most of the readers don't get it.

G_Hockey--Blake is serious. Parris is the EM goaltender. I wonder who the Fire Department will be using against the police in the Charity game? Maybe just maybe the Polcie will have a honest chance of winning.

Komets are short 3 players tonight....they have 9 forwards and 6 d-men, and Haun.....16 and Duffus as the EMG.

What an awful goal that Haun just gave up.....wow. 0-0 game and a routine play with no one around him, he misplays the puck, it gets in between his feet long enough for PH players to skate to the net and tip it in.....it was shorthanded, PH had just cleared the puck to him and he fumbled it. Bad luck. The Komets once again get loads of scoring chances and can't put it into the net tonight. I feel bad for Haun, no margin for error at all.

I hate the fact that people say we had scoring chances. The score was 2-0. If there were so many, how come we were shut out? Reminds me of when somebody says a player has potential.

there were many scoring chances...the puck is just not going in...either the goalie comes up with a big save..or its in his chest..

Can someone let us know what went down at the end of the game with Haun and Larry? I didn't watch or listen. Thanks.

I b2ed it....another case of the Komets not sticking up for their teammate, Haun. IMO

Haun had a penalty called on him for roughing after PH players ran into the net and him, Haun reacted to the play and got a rough, no Komet player reacted to the PH players that went at him, this was after the 1-0 score and about 4 straight penalties called on the Komets within 3 minutes of time late in the game. The very next play, Patrosso ran Haun, Haun swung his stick at Patrosso, 3-4 PH players attacked Haun, and Haun had to defend himself by dropping his gloves and fighting them, and then Larry skated the length of the ice to fight Haun. The Komet players allowed Haun to take a beating once again tonight. He will most likely get a suspension too, for swinging his stick at Patrosso. But there is no excuse for the Komets lack of emotion, lack of hustle, lack of physical play, and lack of sticking up for their teammates, including Haun.

Larry did a nice dance and pretending he had pistols in his hands shaking them as he skated from the ice.....jerk.

I am slightly frustrated with the effort right now.

They did have loads of goal opportunities tonight, they just couldn't get the puck in the net, they missed alot of golden chances. I thinkk guys are tight as tight can be. I get that, but the non-hitting, how do you explain that? The non-hustle at times? And the unwillingness to show emotion or stick-up for a teammate?

I don't get it.

Blast away at me now. Go for it.

I think we need to find Kevin Schmidt to get back here and give Bertram a pep talk. Whats happened to this guy?

Dave Franke has some major issues on his hands.

Major Major Major Problems J-Monks......Bigtime.

The sky is falling, I just looked out the window, and I saw it with my own 2 eyes.

Play hard.....or go home. This is Komet hockey....not Flint Hockey.

We need a center, winger and 2 d-men that take the body relentlessly, to compliment Mac and that will make all these teams accountable for takin all these cheap shot liberties!!!

This team takes the whole "golden rule" to an exteme. It's time to start busting some skulls, Komets.

We need to sign Dorothy Hamel to take Warners spot at the center of the bench.....

I agree Adam. I don't like John Dipace at all, but this team needs a couple of guys like him. Not afraid to play the body at all, and is great offensively.

I just want some hitting and effort. OC is a much better player than what he is showing us right now.

Something needs to happen to spark these guys into giving a crap a again. I hope Mac has huge shoulders, he is our only hope in sparking this team to play hard and accountable hockey. This team hasn't been the same without him. Sad.

Is there a tongue-in-cheek emoticon???

Syro had a goal tonight for Norfolk, and was the third star of the game.

We need grit, hustle, and caring. That will put the puck in the net, wins in the win column, and our opponents on their butts when they take shots at our teammates.

Asking a team to care is not too much to ask. If they say they do care, alot of us fans aren't exactly seeing it. Evidence: no hitting, no emotion, no physical play, little hustle, no team work, and no accountability on the ice. An opponent sticks it in your brother's ear, you should care enough to go to battle for him.

Wanna shut the fans up....bring your game to the ice.

Syro won't be back. At least I hope not for his sake. Not because I don't want to see him in Fort Wayne but because he deserves to stick at a higher level.
I guess Larry doesn't care too much about his own stats if he was willing to give up a shutout in order to play the fool.

I agree GAMEMISCONDUCT=Sgroi is tough and I think the Komets are playing soft because they know there is no one to stand up.

I don't care so much if the Komets are losing. I do care though about the feeling I get when I go to the games. I wanna sleep!! It hasn't been fun at all, and I have been doing more fan watching than game watching. the fans are more interesting at this point! The Komets better pick up the hustle, hitting, and so forth, or I might retire for a few games...
