What are you expecting, hoping for?
It would be nice to see back-to-back strong efforts. It's very early, but I'm beginning to wonder if this is a team that needs to play in a steady rhthym of games to be consistent.

My mind says that after these next 3 games I will have a good sense of what the rest of the season may hold. Last week someone referenced the K's as "the good, the bad, or the ugly" refering to what kind of game they would/could play. I thought that was a great and humorous way to define the team thus far.
My heart says this is the weekend we step up and play consistantly and begin to take off.
(This is for you Alan)Then there is a part of me that says, Christmas is right around the corner and we will begin to make our move.
My hope is that it begins tonight in Evansville and carries through the weekend.......because I would love for Christmas to come early.
How will Evansville play while Henley is out of the lineup?
I'm also curious as to how the Komets will play. Have they gelled and will play a good, strong game (win or lose, they're never going to win them all)? Have they figured out the PK? Will the net be crashed? Etc, etc. These three games will tell us a lot.
Evansville will play a hard, tough, physical game with or without Henley in the line up. It's how they play and I think that's good for the team down there to build a fan base. I really want to see them succeed, but not do better then the Komets of course..
I'm kind of interested to see how the crowd is too.
On a Thursday night, I wouldn't be surprised if the crowd is in the 2000 range
I'm also interested in seeing how Smitty and Chaulker work together on the same line. I would have never guessed Smitty would be that comfortable on the wing.
I would say win 2 of 3 or 3 of 3 with strong consistent effort all 3 games. And I would assume Beech will play at least 1 game of the 3. Which one will it be and a good strong effort on his part will help a lot. If not the Komets have to look for another backup.
Depends on if Beech is in goal...er... if our defense is on their game tonight
