Blake, as always great coverage. I'm a little surprise that Dominic Osman is considered a lock to make the team before training camp has even started. Yeah, he had a good season in the CHL last year however, we've had other CHL stars fade as a K. Unless there's something I'm missing I would think Osman would be in the same boat as all the other newbies.

In the second story you said that the komets have one of their vet spots still open. With Guy, P.C., Shaf, Chaulk, Huk, Bert, there is six vets but isn't Beckett a vet also or am I mistaken?

Huk has 274 pro games. Only regular-season games count toward the 300 total.

I believe he was retiring after last year when he suffered another leg injury. He broke two bones in his leg and dislocated his ankle. I'm not 100 percent on the retirement, and maybe he just needs some more recovery time.

I would like to know where Terry Merchant went to. I thought at the end he became a great player during the playoffs. I can't wait until wednesday night for the games to start. Opening night is going to be great.

Hey Blake with Aquaino being released from Norfolk is there any chance he will come back to Fort Wayne?? Also any news on Woods is doing in his training camp and is there a chance if released he will return?? Can't wait for Wednesday to get here to start another great season.

The guys were talking yesterday that Aquino was going to sign with Milwaukee. I expect Mitch to stick with Cincinnati, but anything is possible. We've all seen stranger things in the past. I expected Curadeau to stick with Norfolk.
