Opening Arguments

A true outrage

The culture of corruption continues. I just knew this election was rigged, but I didn't want to say anything about it, because I didn't want to sound like a whiny Democrat. But now the proof is here:

Fans of "Dancing with the Stars" who tried to call in and vote for Mario Lopez on Tuesday night may have talked with a Missouri woman instead.

Hundreds of people called Carmen Allen's cell phone by accident.

If hundreds of calls went to her "by mistake," imagine how many went to other people, denying Lopez his rightful place as the best dancing star in America. Emmit Smith? A football player? Come on. The danger here is that people might start to distrust all reality TV shows, the most revolutinary and exciting cultural breakthrough in modern times. I know a hike in the minimum wage and ending the war in Iraq are important, but if Nancy Pelosi doesn't out this at the top of here list of topics to conduct hearings on, the promise of the new Democratic majority will never be realized.
